How do you verify these claims? [Greetings, Amanda. To answer your question, the story contains sourced material attributed to reliable, respected, inside sources in a position to know. All statements are attributed and are further substantiated by commentary and elaboration. This is standard journalistic procedure, to wit, virtually every serious investigative reporter and every serious outlet cites unnamed sources - unnamed to protect their identity and avoid reprisals from superiors who might not appreciate news leaks, regardless of the importance or significance of those leaks - every day. I hope someone sues you for slander. [Editor's note: At least three people might have a slander case against Casey Anthony because she is said to have named names in her reported allegation of sexual assault. We could have published those names - we have them - but chose, instead, in a nod to Casey Anthony's known difficulties with the truth, to keep them unpublished.
